Most of his stylised sculptural birds and animals are either press-moulded or slip-cast before being altered and textured. This work is then fired to high temperatures so that it is equally happy inside or outdoors in all seasons. Another range of work is sculpted in clay and then produced in cold-cast bronze resin.
